I think we are in for a busy day. This morning we played at home for a bit. Nicole was a little screamy for some reason. All of a sudden she opened the garage for no reason. I was a little upset as the garage is not a toy. She cried a bit. I think she needed to cry or something because after crying she was an angel. She even came up to me and said “I am sorry for opening the garage”. I was so impressed about her saying sorry on her own, what a big girl. She wanted to wear her Cinderella dress today. I probably mentioned this before but just in case-Justin planted some seeds at pre school and we were told they were beans. We planted them in our veggie are and this is what we got:

Big huge sunflowers, you can click on the pic to see it all.

We walked over to our neighbors to take pics of some furniture. The kids were so excited to see Zoe. Zoe took Nicole’s shoe and they were laughing so hard, so cute. They both didn’t want to leave Zoe and her house as they were having so much fun playing with the dog. Good thing we can go visit anytime. Got a couple pics of the kid when we got home:

Then we headed to the Spectrum with our playgroup to play in fountains. The kids had a blast. Nicole was loving being with Sarah, so sweet. Nicole wanted to do everything Sarah did and eat the same things, etc. We all had lunch together.

Then all the kiddos went back in the fountains. I really enjoyed just watching them. I was hoping we would have time to come home but we needed to head to a friend’s house to help with her kids. This is my friend who has cancer, she had her last chemo this week and is well on her way to recovery. Nicole was so excited to be with Lexie. Lexie and Nicole were pretending to be kittens and Justin was the dog. We had a good time but had to find some creative play. The kids all did a parade around the house with musical instruments then all the cushions off the couch. The kids jumped on the cushions and pretended to surf. Next was hide n seek and we went outside for a bit. The kids had fun playing with all the new toys. Nicole was so sad to be leaving. We went out for a quick dinner, no time to cook. After dinner we went to preschool to return the computer and pick up phone messages. The kids played so well. They played in the sand pretending to make gingerbread houses. They also got all the blocks out and made a street and wanted to walk on it. I felt so bad as we needed to leave and they had just finished their street. They cleaned up so well. Both kids were really tired so we read a few books and off to bed.

Mostly an at home day. I needed one. But this morning the kids woke up early, ugh. So they came with me to drop Katie off at the airport. On the way back we dropped off  library books and the kids thought that the book drop was so cool. Then we went to the grocery store. Breakfast came in parts today, part in the car on the way to the aiport, then I let them pick out crossaints at the grocery store. They helped me with the little carts but they kept on wanting to stop to show me their show. HA We came home and I prepared kabobs for dinner. The kids played so well. They played on the aerobed and were sad when I deflated it. They were very busy this morning. They were as happy as I was to be home. They played with their new snack containers and filled them with cars. They pretended to pack for the aiport and the couch was the plane. They were also ice skating in the kitchen and I had to get out as the zamboni was coming. I gave the kiddos a bubble bath before lunch. They cleaned the whole bath tub with the bubbles. After bath we had lunch then the kids pretended to paint the walls.  It felt like we hadn’t watch TV in days so the kiddos watched Curious George. I have been getting things done, cleaning, thinning out the junk in the house, computer time, signing up for classes, and looking for a photography class. Justin wanted to be naked after bath, so he ate lunch naked and watched TV naked. After TV we went over to a friend from pre schools house. They live in an apt’ and N&J have never been to one before. They thought it was a hotel. The kids played a bit. Nicole was whining for chocolate. I can’t believe how much life is centered around food. It didn’t help that Nicole was pretty tired. We all ran to the Woodbury pool and swam for a bit. I wasn’t sure if I was making the right decision as the kids could only swim for about 25 min. then we had to leave. The kids were jumping in the kiddie pool with their friends holding hands. They loved showing their friends they can go under water, etc. When it was time to leave it wasn’t too bad. Nicole really didn’t want to leave. We got home and our friends were just getting here. Nicole was really happy to see Penny. They just pretty much parellel played. It was nice to have some friends over but still a bit hard to talk with the kiddos around. The kids went right to bed on time at 8:00. Hopefully they get lots of sleep to make up for the last few nights.

I am so tired as we had such a busy day. I left at 9:00 this morning and didn’t get home until 7:30. We picked up Grammy and headed to the free movies at Metro Point. The kids and Grammy went to see Alvin and the Chipmnuks.  I went shopping. It was so weird being by myself. Just weird not worrying about kids in tow. I just shopped around metro point. I got a little bored and headed into Barnes and Nobles and read girly magazines. It was really nice. The kids loved the movie and it was nice as Grammy had never seen it before. After we headed to Norms for lunch. The silly kids had pancakes for lunch. Then we headed to the .99 cent store. So fun as I really let the kids get whatever they want. They loved the paddle ball toys and these little cars/princess snack containers. They had fun walking around the store and touching everything. After we went to Grammy’s and the kids played. They had fun. At first the kids took everything off the fireplace tile and did a few shows, they went upstairs and played with toys. They found these minature cats and dogs which they loved. Justin put them in a plane and flew them around. Nicole thought they were so cute. Since it was getting so late we just stayed until it almost skating time. So we went right to the ice skating rink and Nicole was so excited.  She did great. So cute watching her skate. She had on her little princess ballet outfit with the skirt hanging out of her pants and she looked adorable. Grandma/pa met us there. After we went to Costco and had pizza for dinner. I tried to get the kiddos home a little early since they were out late last night the night before. It didn’t do any good as we had the most hyper kids. They were down here playing and it was so cute. They were playing in the aero bed and having the best time ever. They didn’t go to bed until about 8:30 but listening to them play was so worth it. I just hope they sleep in. It is so nice to be home and we came home to a clean house.

We had a busy day. We played at home for a bit. The kiddos played with all the cars on the train table. When I went to see what they were doing, they told me all the cars were bad and the police pulled them over. We had a little play date here with our pre school friends.  The kids had a great time. Nicole played upstairs with her friends; they played baby-it was so cute. Justin and the boys played with the shake and race go car set. The house was a mess but all the kids had fun and thats what counts. I was running around cleaning since my friend from northern CA is here visiting. I got most of everything cleaned up and then we were off to swim lessons. Nicole is able to swim under water pretty well. Justin didn’t hesitate and tried it too. They both went from the instructor to the stairs. After the kiddos had fun playing. They stayed in the kiddie pool mostly as the big pool was kind of cold. They both showed me all their tricks, jumping in, going under, etc. They loved going under my legs. Well I rushed to get over to swim lessons I didn’t bring a change of clothes, so just got the kiddos naked and in the car. Justin didn’t seem too mind but Nicole was not too pleased. We got home and my friend Katie was here. The kids went straight to the bath and got a bubble bath. They loved it, loved putting bubbles all over themselves. After bath they played so well together. When dad got home from work, Katie needed to meet some people in Laguna Beach so we drove her. We ended up going to dinner then headed onto the beach. It was great, the kids had the best time ever. We were trying to keep them dry but it wasn’t going so well. They were smiling, giggling, etc in the water. It was really nice and I hope we can do it a few more times before summer ends. I was so stressed and tired though thinking of all the things we had to do on the way home. I feel like we have been running all day. Got to get the house cleaned up for the cleaners and do laundry, etc. Nicole wanted her princess ballet outfit for tomorrow so she talked me into doing laundry.

I hate Sundays as it means the weekend is over. This morning I went walking with some of my friends. Dad took the kids to Starbucks and Home Depot. Dad got Justin a new car flashlight. When I got home the kids just played for a bit then I took Nicole on errands. She is the most sweet kid ever when alone with me. She loves it and so do I. I almost happy cried as I had so much funn with her. It is also easier with one kid, no fighting over things, like locking the soors, etc. Anyway she picked out a princess ballet dress thing that she just loves. She was so excited. I just love talking to her and hanging out with her. I felt so bad that I didn’t take Justin even though J and daddy had a great time at home, that I bought Justin a nerf football. Well we decided to head to the beach. Everyone had the same idea as us. It was packed. We drove around for 45 minutes and still couldn’t find a parking spot, all the pay lots were full as well. It sucked as we were hoping to go to the beach, packed up everything but couldn’t find a spot. The kids were a little disappointed but they understand. After the beach we were supposed to go to Grammy’s for dinner, so we headed over there earlier. The kids were so excited to go in the pool. We had great family time in the pool. The water was so cold but the kids didn’t care. The kids loved seeing daddy run and jump in and Nicole wanted to do it too. I jumped in with her but it wasn’t as great as daddy jumping in. Justin was kicking away on his floating and kicked from the deep end to the shallow end. Both kids are just loving the water. After the water the kids played in Grammy’s house. They got the Little People stuff it. It is great what an imagination that stuff brings out. We got chairs out for the people and pretended they people were in a school, etc. The kids celebrated the girl with the crown’s birthday. Justin was busy flying around planes, etc. They watched some Tigger movie and we had dinner. After dinner we packed up while the kids did bubbles. When we got home we read some books and off to bed. I have been cleaning getting ready for a play group and a friend coming to visit.

So happy it is Saturday. The kids slept in a bit. Dad and I were talking about black widows last night so both of us dreamed about them-ugh. The kids wanted to go to Starbucks with dad. So weird to be here alone. I have to admit it was kind of nice. I did a few things I have been wanting to do but boring things like wipe some dirty walls, put all the paint away from the mural, and get the play room a bit organized.  Grandma/pa came over to see Jusitn’s last sports class. It was all about track and field. Justin did so well running and jumping over the hurdles. It was so cute to watch. He is a fast runner. He didn’t do that great at shot put but running is way more important. It was getting hot and they had lemonade for the kids which Justin and Nicole loved. We came home and the kids played for grandma/pa. They did their Chip and Dale shows and did some drawings, etc. Nicole played baby for a while as well. Dad ran outside and hid and watered the new grass. We got some lunch. I stayed home and played with Nicole. We played with the magnetic dress up doll and Justin wanted to go with daddy. After lunch we played. Dad and I are trying to figure out what to do with our living room but I am so decoarated challenged. The kids played with the train table for a while. Then I brought the cars in and set up a little town on the train table. The kids played so well for a long time. The kids started fighting a little bit so we let them watch some Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. So cute to listen to them interact with the TV. Bret had to do some work tonight so the kids and I headed to their friend’s Penny’s birthday party. It was at a bounce house place. The kids had a great time. I had fun bouncing with them too. Justin and I played soccer in one of the bounce houses and Nicole and I went down the slides a bit. It was good to see all my mommy friends. The kids had pizza and cake. The kids ate a few bites of pizza and then said they were done. They were hoping to get cake faster that way. But they waited as patiently as they could. It was a Tinkerball cake and Nicole thought it was so pretty. After cake the kids wanted more pizza what a surprise, then they wanted to bounce again. As party favors, Penny gave the kids books that were wrapped. Nicole was so excited screaming a present for me. At home the kids colored a bit then Nicole said lets take a bath. So the kiddos took a bath. They are just loving water. It was a quick bath then we read the new books and lots of other books too. Justin was so tired. It took Nicole a little while to settle down. She was missing her baby so I had to find that.

Well we stayed home this morning. I did some touch ups on the mural. The kids did some pretend painting as well. The kids played with their drawing toys, the crystal climbers, and then their Leapsters. We all went outside after and did some watering. The kids played T ball which ended in Justin in tears, Nicole accidently got him with the ball. Nicole has been hungry all morning. Justin wanted to weigh himself and is 34 pounds. The munchkins are growing. Our swim lesson was canceled. The kids were so sad so I had to come up with something fun to do. We ended up going to the lagoon in RSM. We had a blast. The kids love it there. Nicole is starting to go through my legs underwater. Justin did a little as well but I did pick my leg up to help a bit. We met a new friend and the kids had fun playing with Johnny. So cute watching Justin play with a boat around the sand. The kids played in the sand and just had a great time. It wasn’t bath day but I figured with the showers there it makes for an easy way to wash their hair. They love the shower. The kids played really well and even shared snacks on the way home. When we got home we went right out front and played. The weather was beautiful. The kids did chalk. Then they got their golf clubs and balls and hit them on the greenbelt. I was busy vacuuming my car and cleaning out the garage a bit. The kids then decided to play in my car and read books in my car. They had a great time. We had a later than usual dinner. So nice not to have to rush to get dinner on the table anymore as they can wait a bit. After dinner the kids watched the trailer to Alvin and the Chipmunks. They just love that movie. We went upstairs and all of a sudden a happy screaming naked Justin comes to my room. It was so funny. We chased each other around a bit then played hide n seek. It was a fun evening. We didn’t have too much time to read books but the kids were laying down while I was reading. They were tried. I love when they go right to sleep.

This morning I needed to run to the pre school again to meet some new parents there. The kids had the best time playing. I had to race them to get them to come inside to the school, then I had to race them to mommy car to get them out. Thank goodness this trick still works. The kids played so well at pre school. Dad stayed home to upgrade his server. He had a hard time concentrating with the kids around. So the kiddos and I hung out in the backyard. They entertained themselves by using golf clubs to hit a beach ball. I took this opportunity to get some gardening done. They did some T-ball as well. They were starting to get bored so we all washed the windows together. I know child slave labor. I let them do two windows and they loved it. They loved using the squeegees. It was actually kind of fun. Then we washed their play house as well. After lunch I gave the kiddos a bath with the prayer. It was a quick bath because we needed to go to My Gym. I signed them up for one day of camp and the kids had the best time. I took the opportunity to go to the gym for me while they were there. I also managed to get to the grocery store and some time at home. When I went to pick the kids up they did not want to go. They played and played. They told me about their snack, the games they played, the parallel bars, etc. They also did a craft. They made door holders that say Justin’s room and Nicole’s room-they came out really cute. I will probably do the “camp” another time since they had so much fun. We came home and then kids ran up to put their signs on their doors and I made dinner. It was an awful dinner. Luckily we had corn and pudding for dessert so that saved us. The kids seemed like they needed a rest so we let them watch Barney. I wanted some computer time now that e-mail is back up. After we went outside for a short bit. Justin drove his car while Nicole roller skated. We also talked to our neighbors for a bit. Nicole wanted to show our neighbors her new door hanger she made plus she showed them her bed and all the animals she sleeps with. Justin has been sleeping with the black dog, a bunny, and teddy. Nicole sleeps with pooh, sparkle bear, fluffy, puppy, dalmation dog, a Minnie Mouse, a Daisy Duck, Lion, baby Lion, and Charlie Brown. And there is still room for Nicole. Justin was really tired tonight but I still hear them chatting away.

This morning we stayed home and played for a bit and all of a sudden it was time to go. Time flew by this morning. The kids are getting annoyed with each other at times when they are close to one another.  We went to the library for an animal magic show. It was so cute and the kids loved it. I love when they talk about it at the end. They say chincillas, snakes, doves, and a hedgehog. The guy was really great. After the kids just ran around and played with their friends. It is amazing that it doen’t take much to get their imagination going. They found a huge piece of masking tape and just ran around pretending it was a snake. It was so funny until Nicole stepped on Justin’s snake. We were there for a while and the kids were just running around. Then we headed home and the kids colored together in Justin’s Thomas sticker coloring book. They were coloring the same page without fighting, shocking! The kids watched some TV and I decided to go upstairs and watch TV too. I never do that and it was really nice. After TV we just played. The kids and I hung out and it was fun. I love to hear them laugh so much. We played inside and outside. Justin and I were playing together which was fun. We were on the floor rolling a battery back and forth, then had a food fight with the plastic food. Silly but we had fun together. Grandma/pa stopped by for a short bit. The kids were very happy. While dinner was cooking the kids and I ran outside and washed mommy car. It was so dirty! The kids played outside as well. Dad is working on upgrading Cybersand, so our e-mail is down and my blog. I can’t believe how much I miss my e-mail but it is a little nice as I am not constantly looking at the computer. After dinner we went outside. I did some gardening and the kids played. They did chalk then got their umbrellas out and pretended it was raining and snowing. We all wore pretend jackets and hats. It was really cute. It was such a nice night that I just wanted to stay out for as long as possible and so did the kids. Finally we went upstairs and did our nighttime routine. Nicole tried to sit on Justin’s water cup for some reason. I told the kids to have a contest who can fall asleep the fastest. It has been silent up there since. Not sure if they were just tired or they were trying to fall asleep first.

Another fun day! This morning we had to run to pre school as I need to register a few more people. The kids had a great time playing. I thought Nicole would give me trouble as she didn’t want to go, she was having too much fun at home with sticker books, but she was fine. After pre school I took the kids to the lagoon in Irvine. We met a few pre school friends there. The kids were so excited to go to the little lagoon as Nicole calls it. To my shock my kids are big enough to go down the water slides by themselves. They were loving swimming under the rope as well. I just turn around and I can’t believe how grown up the kids are getting-time is passing by so fast. I am so proud of the little people they are becoming. I think Nicole could have stayed at the lagoon all day but Justin ws getting cold. I gave them a quick shower and we came home. Nicole actually said thanks mom for taking me to the lagoon-she loved it that much. The kids played at home for a bit, did a parade, played in the backyard, etc. Oh and can’t forget Nicole has learned our phone #. The kids watched Thomas and a little of Curious George while I ran around doing laundry, etc. I was sweating. Then we headed to ice skating lessons. I was a little nervous the kids would fall asleep so I took their sticker books. So cute listening to them talk to each other about their stickers. They were sharing stickers, etc. Grandma met us at the rink, so Justin hung out with her while Nicole skated. I kept checking on Justin and he was happily playing his Leapster. After we went for dinner at Pick Up Stix. The kids ate a ton, they were starving. Of course they remembered about the candy store, so off we went. The kids were getting tired and they were watching the TV in there. Nicole picked out a lollipop and Justin got some gummy candies. They shared their candy, Nicole gave Justin licks of her lollipop and he gave her lots of his candy, so sweet. They were performing for grandma, doing their Chip and Dale show. It was nice hanging just haning out outside. We came home and the kids seemed so tired, so they cuddled while we read books. It did take them a bit to go to sleep though.
